In 1942 Trudi was smuggled by her parents from Slovakia to Budapest. She experienced many hardships as a refugee living under a false name. Trudi was arrested, released and moved from one place to another. With Peretz Révész’ help she was added to the train of the Relief and Rescue Committee and, at the end of June 1944, she left Hungary. In September 1945 she made aliya. Trudi enlisted in the IDF and served for two years. In 1951 she married Mordi Fleischer. Between 1951 and 1952 they were members of Kibbutz Yassur. Trudi worked as a medical secretary. She resided in Givatayim.
